more about california another time, but this is our first time being home-owners and having trick-or-treaters come by. we've had like 15. they come later here than i expected. so far, the highlights:
a gorilla. i said: "what a scary gorilla costume" and he said "it's me, paul!"... uhm, who is paul?
a flamingo. i said: neat costume, cool idea to be a flamingo. she said: "finally, you're the first person to recognize my costume!"
or the perennial favorite: "which one has chocolate? don't you have chocolate?" jeesh!
