did i talk about the seaman's bordello? did i talk about the snow on hurricane ridge and mt. angeles? did i talk about the dungeness sand spit, the longest sand spit jutting off of land in the US (7 miles!)? did i talk about the "banana belt" town sequim, pronounced squim (makes me laugh -- and wonder about the alternate pronunciation of "squin" for sequin), where the sun shone while it was probably raining in seattle? did i talk about seeing brokeback mountain and really liking it? did i mention the beautiful skyline of seattle drifiting away on the passenger ferry "tacoma"?
that was the weekend. it was lovely, delicious (lavender cheesecake, oh my!), and just what we needed. i'm a bit more anxious about the upcoming weekend in the bay area....
