scene at the mall today: a punky waitress runs out of a local burger joint with pink spiky hair, all dressed in black, carrying a relatively large batman action figure complete with flying cape. she runs and runs waving the doll around. i couldn't figure out if this was a prank or a dare or what, until i saw a dad with his little boy heading up an escalator. punky waitress made a beeline for the kid, and returned his doll. very cute scene.
