i'm all walked out, i kid you not. i've been walking like i did in goettingen, which is great, which is what i should be doing in seattle... but i'm also shlepping this little wiggly 24 week, due in october, little baby around with me, and i get so tired.
yesterday i spent some time at the henry lane gallery of modern art, which was great. their collection is shared with a gallery of the same name in london -- shared, because lane himself waffled back and forth as to who should have the collection, and, before the decision was felled, died in the sinking of the "lusitania" (think back to your history lessons, boys and girls!). had a good time, and today i'm on a quest for european toiletries and knicknacks. mostly toiletries, and i've had some luck finding nivea deoderant and lip balm today, and will still look for vichy.
and, more importantly, we are going to a play tonight!
i got a call yesterday from loewenzahn, which made my day. it is odd being so close to the mainland and not going to germany... but hopefully next year, and, hopefully, many years to come...
i'd better post before i get booted off of the internet cafe kiosk... and head off into the sunshine. we have had nary a drop of rain, and i has been sunny and around 20 degrees centigrade. i've also watched more world cup soccer than ever before, and am hooked. go figure!
