saturday morning rainy drizzle
early, we were up too early! to bed late with actual studying getting done, and a midnight snack of veggie potstickers: but up early, because e. had to catch bart into berkeley early. so now the question: back to bed? nahhhhh, since i don't have much time to get work done.

so i succumbed to my consummeristic impulses (not to support the economy, mind you: i believe that if they didn't tell us that consummer confidence is down, it WOULDN't be down!) and went to starbucks for my new addiction, gingerbread latte.

back to the first three decades of the 20th century in Turkey. this is where a time machine would be handy: talk about first hand data - saw it, people, i was there, TRUST me there was some serious stuff going down!
