philosophizing and kismet
i do have a firm belief in self-directed kismet: that is, you can influence some things, but that fate also has a way of working out the wayit should. things don't happen or do happen for a reason. mostly.
and then you are thrown by things like sept. 11, which i can't rationalize as being for any greater good.
but on an individual level, it works.
