whew!
christmas day, cold and grey, and i'm relaxed and happy. got up around 7:30 or so, opened beautiful presents while chester chewed the strings, and then the phone was a permanent growth on my ear until about now. whew. long time talking, or waiting to talk, or listening to everyone AS they talk. talked to the kat(h)rin's, kathrin's mom hannelore, with various aunts and uncles and cousins, relatives in germany. i'm beat. we might watch mio mein mio on video this afternoon; tonight at 7 we drive to champaign. this'll be the last entry until saturday evening! merry christmas!
