shoes, casual relationships, and, oh yeah, a presentation
latish for just getting home
had a big presentation today in the anthro class. and. actually. blushed. not blushed, really, but turned red, not out of embarassment, but because my face flushes when i get nervous.
other interesting tidbits.
2 pairs of shoes. one black, swedish slide type things. the other brown, german, sandals, comfy. because i got blisters on my feet from the cute black shoes i was wearing today.
walking down shattuck, a young surfer/telegraph homeless type highschool dropout starts to ask me: can you spare (usually: change for some pot? change? etc?) but this one was: can you spare a casual relationship? (!) to which i responded that no, i couldn't, not today. and he asked about tomorrow. to which i said ask my fiance. to which he responded - give me his number. it was actually wildly amusing. i laughed.
dinner at piyassa in the city with ilkay and emre. which was nice. but the food was so so. i liked being in the city. in a knee lenght cute skirt, leather jacket, feeling rather cute indeed. yes.now home tired.
guy got shot on stanford campus today, which was weird.
