desert/dessert
i tired so hard to make a great dinner tonight, because, though decent, it has been a sort of slumpy lonesome day. and buffy is on tonight, which is something to look forward to. i just sort of think about it and get sad, though, about TV for goodness sake, because tara may die. sigh. ok. in any case, so dinner: a salad with cherry tomatoes, avocadoes, romaine lettuce. fettucine with a tomato sauce which i spruced up with port wine and cheese. spinach. buttermilk biscuits, which didn't match but were good. and apple turneovers for desert. which i haven't made yet.
desert? dessert? the latter, right?
MAN, i hate doing that. hate it! the sahara dessert? ice cream for desert? sigh.
