dumpsters, dogs, and doldrums

yeah. meanwhile. packing. same old same old. tired. not sure how to tackle the junk that is lying around the apartment. not sure how to pack it at all. driving me nuts. tired.
but hey: SOMEONE HAS A NEW JOB! CONGRATULATIONS! (not me, but someone else!)
otherwise: we went out to dinner to our two friends' who also live in fremont last night... -- they move to istanbul by the end of the year, which is crazy and fun at the same time. good dinner, crazy dog (italian greyhound, cute as anything, but hyper hyper!)
in any case, all is basically well. ramble ramble. we keep on putting stuff- like an old phone, coffee machine, etc. - out by the dumpster - and thank goodness people want it, because it disappears, usually within 6 hours or so. which is nice. someone will use it.
