self discipline
i've entered the "i have to be self-disciplined" phase of my phd work, meaning, in short, that I NEED TO GET MY ASS IN GEAR and stop procrastinating. dagnammit, that's hard. no one, really,is checking up on me. i have about 6 hours a week when i have to be at a certain place at a certain pt in time... that is, in the class i'm TAing for, and otherwise, nothing, nada, zip. this is silly. this is ridiculous hard.
