kale
i had gr�nkohl for dinner tonight, an unexpected surprise. i bought kale, the leafiest and scariest of all the winter greens - it was also the greenest - and it turns out to be gr�nkohl, which i like quite a bit.

that was, truly the highlight of my day. it really, really was. i gobbled up the kale, felt very healthy and green-leafy-vegetable-y, and now, now i want to curl up and read a novel.

oh, and get this. there are now THREE, count 'em, THREE TA's in a class of 22. plus a profesor. those are GOOD student-teacher ratios, to say the least! but really ridiculous. might as well be private tutoring!
