better mood
the lecture went well. i sang. which, of course, is bizarre and slightly silly, but it went well. i think just that made for an amusing day for them.

some items of good news:
a) can get out of my lease. have to pay a bit, but not as much as i expected. whew.
b) can probably get my diss tuition waved next year. also good news.
c) some friends of ours will *also* be in seattle this summer, and they normally live in turkey, so i am highly amused and happy about it!

basically in a better mood. i'm *tired* but doing alright. a little groggy, a little sleepy, but in a better mood.
