the day, in short, was OK
tired and heading to bed. it has been a *long* day for me, but not a bad one.
i talked to my advisor on the phone (that was rough, calling her?!), and made a little bit of headway. perhaps the dead-white-men that i was examining aren't the right dead-white-men.
or, alternatively, it has to do with disciplinary boundaries. we shall see, we shall see.

but i went and did laundry, tomorrow i go to the library. indeed. and my sweetie will call. and i have to look for washing machines, and for a VACUUM - messy messy!

in other words, i'm doing alright today.

and it was friggin' FREEZING today. let that just be said.
