back from the prairies
home sweet california. the trip wasn't a bundle of peaches as i expected. in fact, i cried a good share of the time, and it was ridiculously exhausting. i can't even imagine what xmas is going to be like.
but it is good to be back home. we brought back wedding presents that have been sitting for over a year, unused. sort of like christmas: we now have a whole bunch of beautiful silver bowls that we can use for our big party on saturday. which will be odd - tiny little apartment crammed full of people and silver bowls. such is life.
