joni mitchell is just good. that's all. listening to "california" - california comin' home. you have NO idea how much that sustained me during my philly years. and here i am, in california! but maybe it was less california than the person who made me love being in california. ;) all of that aside, which is more than true, i really do love northern california, especially the smells. eucalyptus, fog, the new grass growing in the spring, and a waft of salt coming from the ocean. love it.
