san francisco night
friday night was just beautiful. on the spur of the moment, right before my sweetie finished with his 2-day marathon interview, i decided we needed a mini-vacation. and decided to go to san francisco for a night, getting a nice hotel room, getting deli food from a good grocery store, and watching TV or DVDs.
and to san francisco we went. the hotel was lovely, we exercized in the gym in th emorning. on saturday morning, we ended up having nice strong cups of (decaf) coffee on union square along with a decadent italian pastry. the sun bounced off of white and grey san francisco sky scrapers, and we sat in the sun (basked in the sun) and watched people walk by with their kids. it was an absolutely fabulous break.
