jog
a deliciously lazy saturday morning, and we're about to go off for a jog. in my book, that means 10 minutes of running. perhaps we'll see if we can extend it to 15, that would be something. anyways, better to be moving a bit, than to be sitting at this chair typing....
had dinner last night with people who personally knew czeslaw milosz, which i thought was pretty amazing. i didn't realize he died in august 2004. the dinner itself was a bit on the bland side, in terms of conversation -- i was sitting at the end of the table, one of the people who was there (a quite well known philosopher, it turns out) could hardly hear, and it ended up being rather boring for me. hubby lucked out and was sitting next to a talkative woman. i would look longingly over at them every so often....
my uncle and cousin from new york are in town. yes, saucy, the one who went to northwestern. (continuing the inside joke: and i used to live on greenwood. did you know that? and oscos!!! and my mom says hello!!!) so we'll go up to marin to see them, which will be nice, for dinner.
no closer, really, on the job decision, though we'll get there. time to jog. more later!
