i really do like seeing a movie BEFORE it comes out in the theatres!!
yes, m'dears, i'm referring to h.p. and the goblet of fire, which we got to see this morning at 9:30 am. we got there at 8:30, had free concessions, and then got to spend the next two and a half hours sitting and watching part four of rowling's books put on film....
was it good, you ask? i still liked alfonso cuaron's version of the third book best, but this was pretty darn good. it was trimmed down from the very long book, and key elements were the budding relationship between ron and hermione, harry and cho (though we all know that doesn't work out)! neville was heart-warming, and mad-eyed moody amazing.
jolly good time, really!
and ps: i'm thrilled to see from imdb that the order of the phoenix is in pre-production, with harry, hermione, and ron being played by none other than the same kids that play them now! rock on!
