back from oregon
back from hood river, which was a lovely but hard weekend. for those of you who know how damn unathletic i am, we SCOOTERED (read, those razor thingamajiggies) for 6 miles. count' em, SIX. it was insane but fun. we went to a swimming hole, too. i'll try and post pictures. it was frigid and cold, but we had a good time. ok, fine, i did not get into the glacier water. everyone else did, but not me. i was a massive wuss and grumpy to boot.

in any case, that's it for now. will write more privately later today. i'm moody and leaving for illinois in 5 days. gulp.
