swashbuckling
insomnia last night so i'm a mass of tired muscles. a mass of tired muscles that is coughing and still has a runny nose. dagnammit. a mass of tired muscles that is coughing and still has a runny nose and that is disappointed that pirates of the caribbean did not win any acadamy awards to speak of: HELLO, it has johnny depp in it!!!! hello, that alone (and the fact that he had an amazing, stellar performance) should have made it win. i'm glad lost in translation got something. i wish master and commander had won something big-ish... what is it with me and movies and boats and swashbuckling? let us not wager an interpretation.
