a) i am planning a mini-conference with a brilliant friend of mine at unc chapel hill (different discipline, similar interests), and we just found out from the foundation that is funding us this year that we have a chance of gettiing some moolah from them! woo! hoo! RA RA RA!
b) a book i translated has been accepted for publication, meaning CV-booster for moi! woo! hoo! RA RA RA!
c) that, and i have narrow feet and unflexible big toes. i can't get over that....
later gaters from a caffeinated bad-girl (no archives today) grad student. that's me, that's my story, and i'm sticking with it.
