dreams and errands
crazy tangled dreams and tangled sheets last night. i don't sleep too well on my own after my sweetie leaves. i slept in his pjs, which got tangled (too big for me), and the blankets wrapped like boa constrictors around me. it was too cold at first, and i had to get up and get another blanket; then it was too hot in the morning, and i did not have strength to push the blanket away.
that, and crazy tangled dreams which involved going to an operetta, which, strangely, detailed the life of the guy i am researching. i somehow got into the operetta as a researcher on this guy, confronted at a conference about where my data was from, people trying to prove to me i knew nothing about what i was doing. the fact that the whole conference was about him was also scary, because until then i had no idea others were working on him.
another part of the dream involved an exhibit at a mini-zoo - literally, mini - and you had to crawl through corridors where you barely fit through. one corridor had mini crocodiles, which supposedly moved away when you came, but it was still scary.
one final part involved driving in a van. in a large group. either before or after the operetta. and there being a HUGE fuss about the missing tiramisu. the gist was something like: "but all vans come equipped with tiramisu - it HAS to be someplace!" the tiramisu was then, eventually, found. so all was saved. still, crazy.
enough on dreams this morning. day full of work and errands lies ahead.
