sontag says it better
to segue off of my ramble from earlier today: susan sontag can really say it better. there is a good new york times' editorial (in the NYT magazine), by sontag, about the torture of prisoners in iraq. you can read it here. it talks about the terminology of torture, the fact that individuals do actions, but individuals belong to a system, etc. etc. and the nature of photography, and our need to document.... quite succinct. there. that's all on this for today.
