sleep cycles
it rained like mad last night, and i worried about the little cat. but i have the little plastic house for him, and he was pretty dry this morning when i put food out. at least we aren't in a place with snow, but it just breaks my heart to know that there are critters out there in crap weather like we are having, and i can't do anything to help. ack.
and it was one of those nights where i just woke up and woke up and woke up over and over again. no problem dozing back off, but i woke up to pee, because of the rain (to close the windows), because my sweetie got up at five to eat because of ramadan, and i think i woke up one other time without an excuse. harumph!
anyways, so it would have been nice to throw the alarm against the wall and hide deeper under the covers, but no. i've been up over an hour. carpe diem? not carping it, but i can, indeed, say that it is a new diem, so i should make some (if not best) use of it.
