wuss
we haven't left the house yet this morning. i suspect my body has become all californian in terms of dealing with the cold. the fact that the high will be 17 whopping degrees today scares the crap out of me. right now it is somethng like 9 degrees, and if it was 9 degrees celsius i'd be out frolicking. but 9 degrees fahrenheit? uhm, no. nope. uhm - i don't think so. we will head out, perhaps to get me some frango mint chocolate, but other than that, we've had coffee and cereal at my brother in laws, chatted, and just enjoyed the warmth of the apartment.
quite frankly, i don't think i even know how to dress for this weather! yes, i have tights i can wear underneath, yes i have a long red wool coat, a hat, gloves, two pairs of scarves (one for my neck, one to go over the hat), and boots, not to mention sweaters, but i'm just such a wuss at this point. and i grew UP in cold weather in germany and in illinois. i guess getting showered might be a good start, huh?
