today has to have been one of the nicest day so far this year. sunny, maybe 55-65 degrees, and just clear and crisp and beautiful. we took a nice long walk in a "palo alto residents" only park. very bizarre, that they have that sort of thing. i had my driver's license with me just in case they checked, but no one was at the gate. we hiked for a bit over an hour, up and down hills and chapparel and oak groves, and now my legs hurt more than i imagined they would.... but it was so good to be outside!
