all for the birds!
what do hummingbirds do in the winter? i haven't seen them all winter, and now, today, one of the sunny spring days we northern californians get to enjoy, they are everywhere. the trees are all in bloom, and hello, we've got hummingbirds. they whir so fast and their heart beats a mile a minute, and they are always flying and flitting around - what a frenetic life. i do wonder, though, what they do in the winter.... they can't all slow down without eating, can they? do they hibernate? in a nest? seriously, sometimes i wonder....
monday monday. enough said. it is a monday. indeed. T minus five days until a little weekend trip o' fun to seattle.
