i so desperately want to write a good piece on my undergraduate advisor, but i just can't seem to find it in me yet. i'm sure there is something dormant there, but i just can't do it at the moment. so, instead, i leave you with two things:
an online memorial
and a graduation speech this kind, kind man gave three years ago. if you don't read the memorial, the graduation speech at least is something to look at. it is just archetypal dr.d. of course, i hear it in his voice, but still.
laundry is done, a good start for the trip to moscow. it will be raining the entire week. *oy*
