pomp and some circumstance
has it really almost been a week since i've written? i'm not doing so well here with the updating, am i? c'est la vie, i'm pseudo-busy. rather, i have nothing much to say.
we had hubby's graduation on sunday and all got a sunburn. much pomp, some circumstance, and a rather honest and humble speech by st*ve j*bs. a fancy dinner in the city to top it all off. in the past two days, though, we have been slowly roasting away in our apartment, surely shedding pounds of retained water because of all of the perspiration. our apartment, right under the roof, is a furnace, a sauna, a crazy greenhouse. except me and my hubby don't exactly bloom like roses with those temperatures!
big day today: 2nd wedding anniversary! a year ago we were in Ruegen, lovely German Baltic resort, i'd so love to go back there. we biked and had time in a spa and slept in and ate lovely breakfasts on the veranda outside... ah, sigh, the memories!
