i'm in californi-a! la la la la la la la! i ended up being awake 24 hours, traveling 18 of those (door to door, LONG ass flight). and then i stayed awake and stayed awake, without coffee and with a whole lot of adrenaline.
so i'm up early, and it is grey and overcast here (not unlike goettingen).
i hope the sun comes out at some time?
saw three movies on the plane: girl with a pearl earring, mona lisa's smile, and the station agent. i love watching movies on the plane, but even watching three only killed about 4 hours of a 12 hour flight. GOD was it boring otherwise.
uhm, what else. other than that, i'm a happy camper, but unhappy about the linguistic situation at hand. i'm sorry, i really can't speak turkish, and i feel under pressure to do so. and it makes me feel bad how reticent i am, but i just don't have it in me right now....
