tropical paradise indeed
with the time difference, we got up at 6 am this morning. by 7 am we were eating fresh cinnamon buns and a banana smoothie. by 7:45 we were out on the beach, jogging in the surf. we napped in the morning, then snorkled this afternoon at ke'e beach (pronouned kay-ee), and are currently microwaving our dinner. this island is truly, and i mean truly paradise -- it has been in the low 80s, we have been lounging and reading and eating shave-ice and a pineapple frosty at banana joes, and are thinking of hiking part of the kalalau trail tomorrow. man oh man, my dreams of owning a B+B on this island are on again, full-on, and i want to move here. thank you in advance for your donations to the "move dandlioneyes to kaua'i" fund. taxt deductible and all!!
